'Medicine' was painted by Gustav Klimt in March 1901 on the ceiling of University of Vienna. At the bottom of the painting stood Hygieia with the Aesculapian snake around her arm, turning her back to mankind. Klimt conveyed the role of medicine and healing but was told that he had ignored doctors' two main achievements, - prevention and cure!
The 18th CEEPC, jointly with the Austrian Proteomics and Metabolomics Association (APMA), the Medical University of Vienna (MedUni Wien) and TU Wien were tasked with 'Precision Medicine, Proteomics and Metabolomics' ..........did we achieve that ? See for yourselves!
